6. Cuteness

Day 6 of my art challenge (and the last day before the con threw me off, so things start going out of order from here on out). This one was NOT done in Photoshop (GASP!). I needed a marker commission sample for the con, so I elected to do this day's art using traditional media instead.

And those doll curls are a bitch to draw. >.< I did get to use some new tools on this, though, specifically some Trias for the greyscaling in the background, and some opaque white ink for the hilights.

The character is one who hasn't shown up yet in my comic. ^^ Art is done using brush pen, Copic and Tria markers, and FW white on smooth bristol, measuring 9"x12".
