This was rather fun to do. ^_^ I wanted something to do with the last sheet of bristol in the pad I've recently expended, but was totally blocked on ideas (the pressure!), so I went into my files of old drawings and found a bunch of layouts and thumbnails I'd done in college, many of which were never translated into finished pieces later. The layout for this one really caught my eye, so I decided to draw it, and after some thought, I decided to try mucking around with how I did it, too. The frame, Gabriel and the beam he's standing on are drawn on the bristol board, the window is on a piece of rice paper (that seems to have drained one of my multiliners... evil stuff >.> ), to make it transparent. I cut out the negative space of the bristol drawing, then sprayed the back with glue and stuck them together, trimming the rice paper to match the bristol. I'm very happy with how it came out, hence the babbling about it. ^_^
Hm... I don't know. There are churches on the station, but I doubt it would be this specific one. ^^ This is from a different story, actually. It's all terribly confusing.
this is real nice i would defenetly hang this up on my wall.love the colors they so vivid.great work.

DeviantART and the martial arts action film, Ninja Assassin, have teamed up to allow ALL deviants the ability to install Journal Skins! Select an awesome Ninja Assassin skin or choose the skin of your choice.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
